Part Time Employment
Part Time EMTs:
- National Registry and State of Delaware EMT-Basic
- Current Healthcare Provider CPR/AED
Part Time FF/EMTs (In addition to EMT requirements above):
- Basic and Structural Firefighting Skills
- Hazardous Materials Operations
- Vehicle Rescue
- Complete SCBA Proficiency Test (Dates TBD)
Note: Equivalent Classes or National Certifications that may qualify for State of Delaware Reciprocity may be considered at the discretion of the BBVFC. Visit the Delaware State Fire School at (http://statefireschool.delaware.gov/default.shtml) for more information about Reciprocity.
Compensation: $15.50 per hour.
Benefit Package: This position does not qualify for benefits under the BBVFC employment handbook.
