EMS Open House - Station 70 Headquarters

To kick off National Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Week (May 15th -21st 2011) BBVFC hosted our first annual EMS day at headquarters on Saturday May 14th 2011. With the support of the community and our EMS partners, the open house was both educational and fun for the more than 200 people that stopped by. Local EMS responders were joined by area hospitals, insurance providers, law enforcement, Fire School, DEMA, and Highway Safety in this community educational event. EMS vehicles from Bethany were joined by units from Sussex County EMS, Millville, Frankford and Bethany Beach PD. The highlight of the day was two medical helicopter landings by Delaware State Police Trooper 2 and Christiana Life Net 2.
