Bethany Beach Fire Company Fatal Boat Assist - Maseys Landing Road-Long Neck

On Saturday evening, 22 August 2015, Bethany Beach Fire Company was requested to assist with their boat, Marine 70, to the Massey’s Landing area located in Long Neck, Delaware. It was reported a vehicle had entered the water and submerged with a person inside. Divers located the vehicle and unfortunately they recovered a body within the vehicle. Until the next of kin is notified and the medical examiner determines the cause of death, no additional information can be released at this time.
